Day three

Well it's Friday! Today's the first day of camp training. We're all packed up and are getting ready to take a bus we've rented out to Ergli, a city two hours outside of Riga where our camp will be taking place. We're already praying hard for the hearts of the orphans well be serving as well as for each other- many of us are pretty anxious about the next week!

Please be praying for strength, persistence and energy for us for the next week. We know that most of these orphans will have hearts that will be hardened due to the living conditions and abandonment that many of them have experienced throughout their lives. We hope and pray that God will give us the words to say to these kids, because we know that Christ will be the only one who will
be able to change these kids' hearts.

So far, 58 orphans are signed up for the camp- all from 9 different orphanages in the area. Well have 40 leaders (including ourselves) hat will be running the camp, so that's almost one leader for very orphan. This makes for a really great opportunity for relationship, each of us have the possibility of making a long term relationship with one orphan- an opportunity that we're praying God will bless!

Unfortunately, we will not have access to Internet for the next eight days, so we won't be able to post any updates until Saturday. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, we're excited to get moving in the journey that God is leading us on!:)
